Serious Error At Startup

Hi,

I have been having problems from time to time with my computer not shutting down and restarting instead. After this happens I receive a message stating that my system has recovered from a serious error. When I go to shut down a second time it closes down fine.

This problem seems to be intermittent and when it does do a restart instead of a shut down I receive the message about the serious error when it gets back into windows and sometimes for a number of times afterwards when loading windows.

I would really love to hear if anyone can come with a solution to this problem.

Thanks,
Tom
