missing DLL file - help!

XPpro, 1.5GB@3GHz
MSVCR70.dll I keep running into a problem with this. The other day I wanted to join a number of short quicktime videos from my digital camera. I have WinAVI Video Converter on my machine. I needed to download the QT codex from their web, which I did. I made all conversions and then joined the .avi files together using Windows Movie Maker. As i tried to add some special effects, I started to run into problems. I tried to acess music from my iTunes to discover I had lost the latest version of QT. Took some time, but after a complete uninstall of QT, I was able to reinstall what was needed to run iTunes. As my computer restarted, I noticed the app for my monitor settings would not load. Error message said it couldn't find MSVCR70.dll. A reinstall should fix it. It seemed to. Then I tried to run my MS PLUS! DigitalMedia, but that too refused to run due to a missing MSVCR70.dll. After hours of research on the web, I was able to download the install for that. Most of the apps inside the PLUS! worked, but some still required that .dll file. I then discoverd my Stuffit Delux would not run due to that same .dll. I uninstalled all the PLUS! and Stuffit files. At this point, I an all my utilities. I reinstalled Stuffit and although the stuffit express runs, the delux does not. Any help on how to deal with this .DLL would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
