SP2 Effect!
Since downloading XP2 my e-mail (Hotmail) and internet sites (including all favorites) take ages to load when computer is first turned on. After about an hour it then returns to normal download speeds. What in SP2 can cause this effect?

Is it possibly downloading Windows Updates or antivirus updates in the background? Try disabling automatic updates and automatic antivirus updates (or any other automatic updates for any other software) and see if this takes care of it.
