Windows updates does it slows down the pc?
Is it truth that windows updates make my pc run slower???

At the moment for the first five minutes or so both my main tower and my laptop are running slowly as Windows updates checks for any critical required updates, I have even uninstalled defender thinking that would speed things up but it hasn't.
For the next few days I think you may have to live with it, if it continues longer than that then maybe you have another issue.
