Reovery XP Pro

I had a bad driver and it messed up my system. So now I have a new video card, and get to an area to revover data. It brings me to C:\Windows

I had the bad driver installed on an ATI Card. Now have Nvidia. When I went to reinstall XP the system told me I already had a windows directory. SO everything is there. How do I get windows to boot? How do I get to that bad driver or is there something I need to do? I am asked by booting with XP CD if I want to recover... I say yes and get into a dos mode. I can see all my files but not sure how to do anything from there. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Steve

Can you boot to safe mode (Press F8 @ boot)? If so,
try booting into safe mode, and when (or if) it asks you something about if you want to enter safe mode or use system recovery, choose no. After windows starts, go to Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> System Restore and restore your system to last restore point.
If not, check this page out. Good Luck!

So I went to the bios and noticed when I loaded in the driver it messed with bios and the drive sequence. Not sure but I am running with new video card. Only one slight problem is Video card message is saying not enough power ad I might want to plugin Aux connector??? There is no place to do this on the 7600 gs Nevidia. I have a call into them...

Thanks

Are you sure it doesn't have a little power connector like on a floppy drive?
