Computer wont Restart
Ok i did some searching for some answers here but all i could seem to find was people who had computers that restart when they arent suppose to. Well, my problem is, when I try to restart my computer (and sometimes shut down) nothing will happen and I have to do it manually by pressing and holding the power button. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks ~TRC note: its a Dell dimmension 4700 if that matters note #2: I'm using Windows XP Media Center Edition |

Try unplugging the power from the computer for about a minute and plug back in. Then try a normal start. If it starts normal and then goes back to the hard start up the next time, may have a problem with the PSU or mother board.

Its not a start up problem. What I mean by nothing happens is that it just stays in windows when i click restart (start>turn off computer>restart). And i have to use the power button to get it to turn off. sorry if i wasnt clear enough in the first post.
