Codac needed please for video conversion

Hi All:

Hope it was a great weekend. I am very sorry if I put this in the wrong section but am hoping somebody can save the world!!
I recently got a website for a book that is coming out that I wrote on the Jefferson Airplane.

There was a bunch of software given away by a company www.coffeecup.com

as part of the web hosting by Lunarpages. One of the programs is an easy way for a website to both upload and offer video on the site. They have a program called
Coffeecup We Video Player. For it to work you need to be able to convert a video file to a flash video format.

They tell you in advance if you start the conversion and don't see it ever go past 0 percent complete you are missing a codac. They don't tell you which one. They did have me run a report from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/..._Detective.htm
and I did.

I saved the report. Can anybody tell me on a Windows XP from 2003, 250GB hardrive, P4 3.06 what codac I am missing? I can suplly the results of the scan for you. If you know which one is there a trusted site? There were warnings all over that the majority of sites offering bundles of video codacs or several free were simply putting spyware on your computer.

Thank you for your time. If you can help me this seems to be an amazingly fast and easy tool for any web experience.

Always be well and sorry if I am in the wrong section,

Thanks!!!

The K-Lite Codec Pack is safe, no spyware, to the best of my knowledge. It's available at the free-codecs site.

Why install Quicktime when you can get Quicktime Alternative at the same place?
