Pissed OS Transfer

I Just bought a new computer and put XP x64 on it but i am putting my old HDD in it because i want the operating system that was on it. is it possible for me to transfer the OS on the old HDD (XP Pro SP2) to my new 250 GIG HDD with x 64 before i format the old one, and without formating the new one. If there is no way to do it without formating it5 is ok as a last resort to reformat the new one.

And i have another problem. I just built a new computer with an ASUS A8N-E MoBo; AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ CPU; Antec 480w P/S; Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS 256 Mb mem by 3DFuzion; WDC 250 GIG HDD with XP x64, and WDC 40 GIG HDD with XP Pro (i have to switch the cables when i want to boot with a different OS which is why i want to put them both on the big one so i can use the small one for back up) and i can play games like Battlefield 2, Vietcong, and Serious Sam for long periods of time without my computer doing anything wierd. But if i try to play rise of nations for 20 min it reboots my computer, or morrowind for about the same amount of time, or freelancer for les time, and Black & White, the first one, doesnt even get to the part where i play it reboots in the first cut scene with the kid in the water and the snarks. So far i havent tried playing them on the smaller HDD to see if the OS is the problem. (another reason i want to beable to boot both from the big HDD.

If there is a way for me to fix it without needing XP Pro x86 then i wont need to have that first question answered as i dont want it anymore unless it is my only choice to play my games.

PLEASE HELP!!!
