Backing up drivers

I was wondering if anyone knows of any freeware that will allow me to save my xp drivers to a flash disc or cd, so that I can keep a backup of those that I do not have a disc for. It would also be handy for reinstalation of windows on older machines where the discs have been lost or the drivers are just very hard to find now.

As I'm rebuilding older machines, I store all the drivers I get off web sites into a folder on the hard drive. Then I burn to cd. Nothing special needed.

Thanks, then I will do likewise, I had hoped that if drivers were already on a machine then I could save them to reuse later without hunting them down on the web. What you say has lots of merit as I would get the latest drivers by finding them on the web and saving in a folder. Thank you EzyStvy.

Ace, that was exactly the sort of thing I was after. You are a gem, thanks.
