Timeout (30000 ms) error

Hello,

I get "Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the DirectX Service service to connect." error in the event viewer everytime i log in to windows. Is this a sign of slow windows or should i ignore it?

What can i do to fix it?

Thanks,
Ozan

It indicates that the computer is having problems with starting the service.

What is the event ID of the error and also the error Source?

"This error is not directly generated by the application experiencing the problem but by the Service Control Manager that cannot connect to the service (due to problems with that application). Look for error messages generated by the application itself."

I suggest you reinstall DirectX and that should correct the problem.
