Start Up items
I know there is an easy way to remove programs from the startup menu and I have forgotten how to perform it.
Help, and thanks

right click on the program you want to remove, and click "remove from this list"
additionally, to remove all of them right click on your taskbar-->properties-->start menu-->customize-->under programs you will see a button for "clear list" |

Sure, when window boots up, several program are running in the background and have quick tab icons on the task bar.
i.e. msn messenger, webshots, virus programs, ect. How does one remove them from the startup operation? Thank you |

Start > run > Type msconfig > click on the start up tab > uncheck what you don't want to start automatically.
