Screen log off XP

About the time SP2 came around this thing logs off of my screen and goes back to the blue logon screen. I have 2 logons. One for son, one for me. He knows not to mess with my screen but just gets me I have to type in password all the time if I walk away for a couple minutes. Seems I saw someplace there is a reg edit to fix..? Bill ... if I want... will logoff myself. XP OS Thanks

Are you sure that it's not a screensaver that comes on and forces you to log in? Control Panel > Display > Screensaver time .. and check to see if the Check box for "On resume, Display Welcome Screen". Also go to Control Panel > Power Options > and change the Monitor turn off options to Never .. click on the Advanced tab and uncheck the option for prompt for password

I have looked at screensaver before and just did again to confirm. No screen saver set to run and box for on resume not checked. The monitor was set to turn off, but goes to welcome screen before that would ever happen. I did set that to never. Under the power>advanced tab prompt is not checked.

Update. After did post wondered about other logon screen. Some were checked I changed them see what happens. Not sure what his screen has to do with mine. But worth a try.
