Another Outlook Express question....
I just reinstalled winxp.
The problem I have with OE is now it is very slow to send a message with an attachment. The attachment is only a small word file. Sometimes it even times out. I shut down my virus program AVG and it made no difference but I will try again tonight. Has anyone had this problem before? And, if yes, how was it resolved?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q315008/ and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813514/en-us are two generic troubleshooting procedures that deal with mail transmissions for OE.
How much slower is your attachment sending? Are you sure it has nothing to do with your ISP or your SMTP server? |
