Windows xp updates

I had new updates for my computer but 3 of them would not install. These are office 2003 service pack 2, update for office 2003 (KB907417) and update for outlook 2003 email filter. Is this normal or is there something i have to do to get these to update.

Thanks

Windows updates and OFFICE updates are two differnt things.

Check in the Add/Remove Programs to see if there are any Office Hotfix's installed on the system as these can sometimes cause a conflict and consequently the updates will not install properly!

If there are any then remove them and try to install the updates again

You could try running Microsoft's baseline security analyzer and Belarc Advisor.
Check the results for any broken updates and remove them in add/remove programs.
The MBSA program will look like it is hanging for a few minutes while it downloads the latest update information from Microsoft, so give it a few minutes to run.
And check todays releases for KB922582.

Thanks for the tip jayb1234 but nothing seems to work. Those 3 updates are the only ones wich wont install and its annoying for the sign to pop up everytime i start the computer or every one in a while. Any other suggestions?

BTW glc where do i go to get the updates manually. I go to microsoft updates page but then it promps me to check my ocmputer and it ends up opening the same windows when i click install and they dont install.

office 2003 service pack 2 scroll down near the bottom.
For the mail filter, you will need the KB number because there are a bunch of them.

Where I linked you to - http://office.microsoft.com - there's a link for office updates on that page.

Office Update
Check for Updates

I reinstalled office 2003 with only what i need again, power point, word and excel and no hope either.
