Formatting a Computer
Was doing some quick formatting of a couple computers in my parents' office when I took a break.
Came back and realized I forgot my Ultimate Boot CD. So I tried formatting by using the command: "format c:" both from A: (an MS-DOS Startup Disk) and C:, and yet, I kept getting the response "Bad command or file name". What gives? Am I that inept, or have I just plainly forgotten how to use the command line?

Probable issue is the format command is uncompressed from the A: and put somewhere D: or above. The format command is probably out there.
Watch the screen as the drive is decompressed. It will tell you where it is being put. |
