Error 1706 in Windows 2000

Hello!

I need help! I have had the software PCStich 6 installed on my computer for 2 years. I have never had any trouble with it. But now every time I try to open PCStitch I get an error code 1706 No valid source can be found for Paperport. It only happens when I try to open PCStitch. I have tried reinstalling the software and searching the Internet. I have found nothing that helps. The box that pops up says the information I need is on a CD that should be inserted. I have even tried searching the installation CDs for Windows 2000 that came with my computer for the file paperport.msi. It says no files found. Can someone please help? Thank you!

It's looking for a Paperport CD - this is a program that comes with Visioneer scanners.
