Start Menu

I click my start menu and windows update and IE arent there, I also go to accessories and my system tools are gone (disk defrag, disk cleanup) Did i click something to make them disappear? How do I get them back?

you may need to do a reinstall repaire of the system.
back up any info you can't afford to lose and then do a install/ repair of xp.

I had the same thing happen on my laptop and doing that was the only way to get everything back.
also in the ad/remove programs in the control panel, the programs would not all show up.

so I was forced to do the repair install.
