Couple questions.

If i try to adjust my Volume levels on my computer (both software and hardware side), the sound level goes up and down. It randomly rises and falls for about 10-15 seconds then sits back at where it is supposed to be. I don't see the volume changing in the computers settings, but i tried different speakers and the problem still exists. anyone got a clue?

Also, how do I enable HTT technology on my computer. i have a amd athlon 64 3700+ and the computer doesnt recognize the fact that it supports hyper transport. The HDD has an old install on it. When i built my new machine, i just transferred over the drive because all it had on it was windows anyways. anyone know how to enable it other than reinstalling windows xp?

Thnx.

Check in the BIOS to enable HT and you need 2 matching sticks of ram and in the correct slots on the mother board for HT.
As for the sound issue, probably need to delete sound drivers(used on the old unit?) and install drivers that came with the mother board CD(on-board sound?)

im not using the on-board

im not using the onboard sound. I'm using a creative Audigy 2 ZS. I checked with Creative and they couldn't help me, so im trying here.

I'll check the BIOS again for the HTT option, but from what i was reading, it appears to be a windows install thing rather than on the mobo side of the picture.
