Unhappy Lost os CD for Windows XP

Hello, I am attempting to upgrade several parts for my computer including my motherboard, CPU, RAM, and Vid card.

One problem, I lost my OS disk and i don't know what to do.

Is there a way to get one shipped to me or what?

Thanks!

Contact Microsoft and have your Product Key handy. Your only other option is buy a new copy.

Probably. You can contact them by email or phone. They will either mail you a copy for free (sans product key), or they may charge you for it (again, no product key). Just keep your product key handy, because you will need it to install it when it comes.

Be nice, and explain the situation carefully. Good luck!

If it's a Dell Computer, it should be on a sticker stuck to the side of your computer

You cannot upgrade to a non-Dell motherboard using a Dell-provided load of XP. This violates the EULA and will not physically reload due to a bios lock. You will need to buy a new copy.
