Hello again computer experts. First, before I ask for help yet one more time, Thank You!! Thanks for this site and Thanks to all the people who volunteer their time to look over these questions from all of us and guide us back to healthy computers!!
Todays question is how to get rid of an annoying pop-up. Every time I connect to the internet with MSN Premium, I get a pop-up from MSN Messenger telling me that a newer version is available and I have to download it in order to continue. I have tried several times to do the download without success and now I just click on the 'NO' button and continue with my browsing. I have noticed no ill effect by not having downloaded the newer version. The worst part is, I don't want Messenger. I don't use it. Ever! Any suggestions? newomij |

Go into Control Panel/Add/Remove programs and uninstall MSN Messanger. Do not uninstall MSN and MSN needs to be off to do the uninstall.
