Problem with Windows Media Player

I can't get ANY videos to play in Windows Media Player 10.

MPEG's, AVI's you name it, ones that played before no problem suddenly don't play.

All I get is a green retangle.

Anybody know what might be causing the problem?

TIA.

If you are receiving error codes please post what they are.

No error codes. Just a plain green rectangle with sound.

You might want to try installing something like the K-Lite Codec Pack. It's free.

Problem solved!

I uninstalled the 'ASUS ENHANCED DISPLAY DRIVER' (whatever that is) and now it works perfectly!

Thanks for your help anyway guys.
