Repair windows xp pro? Please help
Hi all,
How do i do a repair of Xp pro using my Windows disk? I booted up the disk and selested repair then you have to type smething in to get it to repair? The reason i want to repair is because im having issues such as this one... http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=166855 And i just generaly think my system is full of hidden spyware/Virus that my antivirus (AVG)Cant detect. And maybe theres missing files so I dont wonna realy format and re-instal windows again because then i will lose all my files and it will take to long to burn then all to Dvd disks. |

Have you tried a second opinion at : http://housecall.antivirus.com/
If you insist on doing a repair, here's a good howto: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm I'd suggest attempting to fix the error a bit more before resorting to a repair. |
