Download Problems

My OS is XP Pro.

I am not able to download any programs. When download starts, the downlad progress comes out per normal. The file just cannot be found after the download is completed. Has anyone faced this problem and solved it?

Regards.

are you saying that the file(s) you download complete successfully but you can't locate them once the download is completed?

try saving them to your desktop and download something to see if that fixes your problem..

Download Problems

Thanks for your reply.

I have done all that, i.e. save to a folder, desktop, etc. The download status screen does appear but on completion of the download, we know that the file is not there. We were trying to download a Zonealarm update but it is just not there, because the next day we get a note from Zonealarm to download the update again.

have you always had this problem? i would disable zonealarm/uninstall it if you have a router and xp, and just use the windows firewall, and see if you can download things.

if that works then either follow my advice and delete it as stated above, or you will have to look in the settings to see if it is blocking downloads. i dont know if there is an option like that in ZA because i never use that program.
