just wondering
I use a Compaq Presario 2100 laptop win XP pro and I was wondering to save battery life if I disable my internal modem using device manager (I Use wifi now) will power still be applied to it???

I doubt that disabling a modem that is not in use will much effect battery resources, but you might want to wait for someone to answer who knows a bit more about software/hardware VS battery life.
