Laptop-Dial-up
The computer is an HP Presario 2800 running Windows XP Pro. For Internet it has both ethernet, wireless and modem capabilities. I am taking the computer to Mexico from the US and dial-up is the only available Internet hook-up. I want to try and set the computer up for dial-up before I go. Any suggestions on how to go about this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

If you want to do that you will need to find a Mexican ISP that offers pay as you go dial-up access.

Just wait till you get there, get an account with an ISP that does not require proprietary software, and use the new connection wizard to set up a dialup account.
