ALL DVDs Titled "UDF Volume"

I recently purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator 10 and when I tried to install it encountered an interesting problem. For a while, when I inserted a DVD into my Plextor drive, the volume name did not seem to change. Occasionally if I ejected the DVD by right-clicking on the drive and selecting Eject, the next DVD inserted would display the correct name. So, today when I tried to install FSX (which is a two DVD set) the install went correctly until the 2nd DVD was required. I inserted the 2nd DVD, pressed OK only to receive a dialog telling me that I needed to insert the FSX Disk2 DVD. After some research, I found that inserting a new DVD or CD did not cause the drive to Autorun and therefore display the correct name. I enabled the Autorun feature as described in a Microsoft document, however now ALL DVD titles are displayed as "UDF Volume". The FSX installation program is obviously looking for a title of FSX Disk2 but for some reason both DVDs in this set display only the "UDF Volume" as a label. This is a Windows XP Pro box with SP2 and all critical and optional patches. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
