Hello and good day! How can I enable to share a C drive of a workstation from the domain computer without physically going to the workstastion. I know I have done this using window 2000 server but I can't seem to find it on window 2003 server.
Thanks |

are you asking how to share out the C drive on your 2003 domain controller? bad idea, big security risk.
right click my computer go to manage>click on shared folders>then click shares to open it up>right click and choose new share, browse to the c drive, it will inform you that this is not recommend and is a big security risk. follow the rest of the steps to create the share

Sorry If I was not clear enough... What I wanted to do was enable to share the C drive of a workstation without physically going to that workstation. I want to enable it from the domain computer.
Thanks |

either use remote desktop and connect over to the workstation to share out the drive or
right click my computer choose manage, right click where it says computer management (local) and choose connect to another computer, type the pc name in, it will connect then share out the C drive by going to shared folders, shares, right click and choose new share (you need administrative privileges to do this) |
