have you looked at the headset and microphone vendors website to see if they have any software to install it onto your pc to get it working properly?

Are you using SP2? The MS Bluetooth stack is part of the SP2 rollout. It installs itself whenever it discovers a PnP Bluetooth device (which means that your PnP should be working). In general there are 2 stacks commonly used .. Broadcomm or Microsoft. Most mfgers will go with one or the other. If they use the Broadcomm stack, it is essential that you use your vendor's installation disk (if it didnt come with any software .. do a search for the manufacturer . .or give us complete details of your hardware).

i thought i'd found the software on line. took alot of hunting down.
the drivers refer to the hardware as 'Microtune usb dongle' and i have an itech arrow headset it seems to have installed correctly, no drives or software can be found for the itech headset that i know of, i do have service pack 2 on winxp home. but no bluetooth programs can be found. nothign in control panel. nothing to customise or conect to. any ideas |
