XP PRO Possessed
For no reason at all my computer will restart, sometimes I start WM player, sometimes i just move my mouse and sometimes just putting a cd in my external drive does it. Have done the following troubleshooting.
1. Double checked that all firmware and drivers are up to date 2. Ran Virus/Spyware scan using Panda Titanium 2007 (safe mode) 3. Ran AdAware (safe Mode) have not installed any new software or hardware. Any help would be appreciated. Hope this helps: Operating System System Model Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (build 2600) Asset Tag: 123456789000 Processor a Main Circuit Board b 2.47 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 128 kilobyte primary memory cache 512 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. Disable restart on error and you should be able to get a blue screen with some indication of the problem.

You are overclocking. Turn the bus back down to 200, it's at 206 right now.
What are you using for a power supply? |

Power Supply
500 Watt coolmax xeon/amd64 sli eps
Also, I have overclocked much higher than that (110%) with no problem. Can you tell me why the overclocking would make computer restart? |

Overheating could definitely do that, I have never had a problem with it, so I cant tell you exactly what it would do. What is your CPU temp at?
