Question Direct Show Problms

I've been having a problem with videos using Direct Show Player on the E-Machine T6410 we have. Thing is, I somehow deleted the dll that involves this Direct Show and whenever I double click media player,

"An internal Application Error has occured"

I just built my own rig a week ago so I have a fresh copy of Win XP installed on that computer (I'm on the Emachine right now) so I can copy and paste whatever I need to play Direct Show videos.

NOTE: The reason why I mention my other rig's XP is that I can't find the OEM that came with the E-Machine.

Any suggestions on what Dll I need?

It would really help our my mum cause she likes watching CNN videos and such. I mean, Youtube works and all but streamed stuff that ONLY involves Win Media player doesn't work.

Have you tried system restore? Or installing DirectX again: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en?
