Windows hangs at screen

Heya all,
Well Xp died again. It booted up Missing /Windows/System32/Config/System. Ok so I swapped out the 5 normal files for this from the repair folder into this, as per the windows help pages. This has worked before. Now though, it gets to the Windows splash screen and the bars just runs. I only let it run for a few minutes. Anyone ever had this happen before. Any ideas on this?

When booting, press F8 for the boot options and then select the mode to list the commands. The last command it lists and hangs on is where the problem is.
I've had this exact problem happen and it turns out the boot process was being hung up loading mup.sys (which loads integrated devices on the MB). I had to systematically disable built-in devices in the bios before finding it was the LAN port and USB plugs which were fried. After disabling these in the MB, the system booted fine.

The last driver on the screen, which I am assuming is the problem, is agpCPQ.sys. I googled it and there do not seem to be a set answer for it. Any ideas?

Sadly the computer did not come with a Windows disk, got to love the new marketing. Any way to do this with out it or do I need a disk for it?

Thank you
