Hello, I've recently started having a problem with my computer. I'm not sure if this is a software issue or a hardware so I'm hoping someone can help me out. When I run a full screen application like this game I was running and I switched over to the desktop screen using Alt + Tab, it would freeze if I stay there for a bit. A beep noise would beep from my computer and then the whole style freezes. Can't pretty anything. The music thats on continues to play though. I reformatted my computer recently and the problem has appeared ever since. I don't think I've done anything wrong though. Hope someone can help!
My system is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+, 1Gb of Ram, Radeon x1600 512mb video card, 200Gb+ hard drive running on windows XP that i recently purchased. Any help is greatly appreciated. =] |

Check temperature of your system and test your memory.
