xp pro student version

I've searched around a bit and can't find a definitive answer about this. My college daughter bought a student version of XP pro (for about 8 bucks at the bookstore) and expects daddy to install it on her desktop and make it work just like her laptop. Please, if anyone knows, is this a full or crippled version?

Thanks for the info in advance!

Never heard of the Student Version of XP Pro. I'm almost certain it is plain XP Pro that the school sells for cheap since they have many licenses.

The student version of XP Pro is an incredible deal that Microsoft provides to certain universities and colleges. It's the full version. They even have really good pricing on Office.
