Xp stops at 32 mins left of install...

Hello my cousin has a problem with xp home installing..... it stops on 32 mins left.... on where it sais installing network... are there any known issuses ?? there HDD is new and formatted in NTFS. xpSP1

Hard to tell if there are known issues without knowing the hardware specs. Without knowing the specs, if I were to consider that the error happened during network installation then for starters you could try disabling the network devices (if there is a network device disable it in the BIOS) or if there's an add on network card remove it.
