Boot options
Hi folks.
I was having a little problem at startup. I had boot options between Windows XP Pro and Windows XP Setup. I opened my boot.ini file, and deleted the 1 line reference to the setup. Now when i start windows, the "setup" option is repaced with "windows default", but i still have to choose between XP pro and default. Here's my boot.ini file, can i safely remove something else so i don't have to select which option every time i boot? [Boot Loader] Timeout=5 Default=C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT [Operating Systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect Thanks! |

Change the line default to make the boot.ini look like:
[Boot Loader] Timeout=5 Default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [Operating Systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect |
