Getting windows XP Home Cheap
Does anyone know the cheapest way/place to get Windows XP? I've just booted up My computer, and I'm still waiting on a copy of windows XP from my friend who didn't need the copy, but.....I don't feel like waiting 5 days, I'd rather just spend the money.
are their like student or educator discounts or something??? the cheapest I've found it is like 70 dollars for an OEM copy of windows XP home. PLEASE HELP!!!! I"M SITTING IN FRONT OF A $1200 paper weight!!!! |

A lot of educational institutions do have discounted copies of XP; well worth a try if you qualify.

Other than a student discount on XP, the only way I've been able to get XP Home for less than the OEM price, is to catch a sale on XP Home Upgrade at a local big box store. Have gotten it for $50.
