what i can safely delete from my startup list on XP

hey everyone, i have winxp pro and the attachment to this msg. shows all the programs that startup when my computer boots. which ones can i safely remove from starting up? some of them like "IPHSEND" i have no idea what it means. what do the other ones mean aside from the obvious ones like avg, real..AOL, diskepper, and qttask. thanks for any help

your not deleting anything through msconfig your basically just stopping it from starting at bootup. from what i can see, i would remove all checks except the one(s) for grisoft which is for your antivirus software, so keep the third one avgcc and remove the others. also it appears as though there are more below but you would have to scroll down and take another screen shot.

if things aren't working right after you reboot then go back in and start adding things back.

diskkeeper
quicktime
bwmonitor
aol crap
just schedule

actually there isn't more check marks below the last one on the screen shot. what the heck is updreg (at the top of the list)? its weird but it always seems when i take quicktime off the list it always reappears.
