Unhappy Keeps asking me about Safe Mode......

As some of you might know when you change hardware and drivers, sometimes Windows XP'll go into a Black and white screen saying if you want to "Start Windows Normally" and other choices like "Safe Mode' Etc.

Anyway, everytime I boot my new pc I built 3 weeks ago, it always does this screen and I click on Start Windows Normally and yes, it does work but I find this to be annoying.

What I think COULD be the problem is the drivers. See, I just have the drivers that came with the Sapphire CD for my X-1600XT. Thing is, I tried Downloading the newest ones for the Video card and it'll go through the installation until the end for ATI and it'll say, "Zero Display Error"

......
.....
.....

And I reboot and it still has the old drivers on it.

Is there anyway I could maybe clean the driver or something like that?

Here's a link to the drivers:

The one's I have under the Control Panel/ System are in this Pic:

For grins, reboot and select SafeMode. Reboot again and see if it clears up the problem.

Yeah, what could be another related problem is that before that screen comes up when I boot my pc, it always checks if there's something loading in the dvd drive and says it can't boot from the Dvd drive.

Is there any way I can make it so my Harddrive is the first thing booted in windows cause when I press like F something it comes up as Boot from "and it lists all the drives".

Thing is, I can't pick one cause my stupid keyboard's down directional key doesn't work.

Can I do this from Windows?

OR should I open up the PC and see if I actually did the Master button for the Harddrive?

Selecting a Boot Device

Often your computer may fail to boot from the hard drive due to logical system corruption or hard disk failure. Commonly you may want to boot from other data media (such a CD or floppy disk) in order to perform some system rescue. To boot up from a different bootup media, you just need to configure your BIOS to change the boot sequence.

The boot sequence is a functionality located in most of the modern pc BIOS that tells your computer the sequence of devices to look for as the booting device (must have the necessary operating system) each time you power up your computer.

To do this, follow these steps:

Restart your computer

Hit DEL or any key that prompts to enter the BIOS

The following message is usually displayed when you power up your computer:

Press to enter Setup. is normally [del], [ESC] or any other keys depending on the BIOS that comes with the computer.

In the BIOS menu, look for Boot Sequence

Select your required boot device to be the first boot device

For example if you want to boot from the floppy disk, select floppy drive to be the first boot device. Likewise, if you want to boot up from a Windows CD, select CD-ROM to be the first boot device instead.

Save and exit the BIOS

Insert the boot floppy disk or Windows CD into your computer

Restart the computer. The computer should now be booting up from your required data media.
Second : When in windows click Start> Run, type msconfig hit enter and in startup menu choose normal startup

Thing is, my Keyboard's down directional key doesn't work and i'm stuck with this for now......

Are you sure I can't DL an asus thing that does this for me?

Just asking. And when I actually did get to Bios (it loads the splash screen for like 2 secs and immediatley goes to trying to load the dvd rom and then the error thing) I would click setup and it would list a bunch of files quickly and just restart....***.
