Overwrite Install: Combine Me and Me.MyComputer Accounts?
My computer was being dumb, and I had to whip out the XP CD. I tried a repair install, and that did nothing. My computer wouldn't even boot. I decided to do another install, but do it over top the old one. Now, I have All Users.Windows and All Users, along with My Username.MyComputer, and My Username. Is there a way to go back to the old usernames I had? Can I somehow smash the two accounts together? I would prefer to get rid of the .Windows and .MyComputer, but I would keep them if it worked like it used to. I tried copying the files from one to the other and it didn't like that, not even in DOS.
