context menu for drives out of order

This seems to have happened after creating a new user profile (administrator) in WXPSP2.
I can open My computer from the desktop by double clicking, but when I then double click on the hard drive icons to open them, the search window is opened.
After right clicking on the hard drive icons, I discovered that "open" is now not the first in the list in bold, and in its place in bold is "search..."
Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello twiggs, I've done some research and came across this site I think it's what you're looking for http://www.governmentsecurity.org/archive/t14728.html. Give a read and I hope it helps.
