My buddies hard drive was about to give out on him so I made a ghost image of the drive and burned all of the backed up files on a DVD so he could put them on his new comp but I cannot access his folder under documents and settings. I think the problem is that he had his folder set as hidden so I booted up his comp, un-hid the files, removed his password and I am still having trouble accessing his files. I get a message saying the folder is not accessible. What am I doing wrong?
![]() The folder is "not accessible" message only comes up when I try to open the folder on a different computer. Only when I boot up off of his drive can I get into his folder under documents and settings. I have tried backing up with both Norton ghost and windows backup utility and have the same problem. P.S. OS is XP pro. |
