Black border

Hello folks, I hope I'm posting my query in the correct forum and would be grateful for some guidance.

Shortly to replace my CRT monitor with a TFT and for some reason this afternoon which I cannot remember, I was experimenting with changing the screen resolution in display properties.

Now I am left with a 1" black border around my desktop and web pages that wasn't there before.

My screen resolution has always been 800 x 600, which is what it is now set at. I've tried everything I know but cannot make the pages fit my screen.

Be grateful for some advice

Many Thanks Hajach

False alarm folks I just looked at the monitor menu for the first time and saw how to stretch the picture. Strange how it shrunk though.

Sorry for being an idiot.
