lost folders with OE download

I woke up this morning to a nice piping hot cup of java and sat to check my e-mail and YIKES!!!
Outlook Express 6 had seemingly downloaded itself and all my old folders were cleaned out (including all the PC tips I had saved) or gone(all my current Inbox and Sent messages). I am running Win 98 on an AMD K-6. I'm not sure what version of OE that I was running. I hadn't updated it in ages so probably an older version.
Is there any way to recover these files and folders????
Paul.

Do a search for *.dbx and see how many sets of folders you have. OE may just have to be repointed to the correct set. There will be inbox.dbx, sent items.dbx, outbox.dbx, etc.
