How do you change the desktop icons to transparent in Windows 2000?

Just as the title states, how do you change it back to transparent in Windows 2000? Thanks for any replies.

There is more involved than I thought. I got it to work, but you have to restart the program after each reboot and this computer gets rebooted alot. I thought I could just tick a box and be done. Thanks for your help and link.
