Hello World!!
My name is Jose, I work for an advertising/marketing company in the IT department as a helpdesk engineer. I recently got asigned to a new building after working ten months at headquarters. My question is the following, when ever an End-User tries to access a network share from the new building to headquarters with the servername or IP address they get the following error: LOGON UNSUCCESSFUL The username you typed is the same as the username you logged in with. That username has already been tried. A domain controller cannot be found to verify that user. It works if I log in with my domain credentials. |

do you have a vpn setup between these two locations?
if you are using a non domain account to access shares on a domain/domain controller then when you are prompted for a username and password you need to supply a domain user account credentials in order to be authenticated. do all these employees at your new location have a user account setup in active directory on the domain controller at headquarters?
