close Quicklime
Quicktime is automatically opening up my download files with MPG extension. Don't like it as it opens in a small postage stamp size screen which I cannot enlarge. I thought it is supposed to if one grabs the lower right hand corner but it doesn't;t work on my machine. How can I shut it down and so have Windows media player open my MPG files?

Right click on one of the files and select "Open With."
Select WMP and place a check mark in "Always Use."

If that fails just try the following:
Open Media Player > Tools > Options > File Types > Tick the ones you want WMP to play. I loathe all these programs 'demanding' to open all my files types when installed and the fact they all insist on starting when Windows loads - MSCONFIG is a good friend in these cases. |
