Safe mode and virus removal

I have the viruses:
win32/apropos.b
winnt.zufyx.a
spyware.apropos.c
trojan.win32.crypt.t

microsoft sent me a message on how to remove this viruses. The first thing is to restart
your computer in safe mode. I hit F8, hit safe mode, then chose my system and I get a screen full of text lines and then my screen just says : out of scan range 36hz-85hz or something to that extent which i thought was a monitor prompt, but nothing else happens .
So, is there another way to remove these or start in safe mode? thanks for the help!!!

Welcome to PCMech,
You can try removing all USB devices that you may have (exept mouse ), and you can try START => RUN type MSCONFIG and choose start up option SAFE MODE (but still remove all USB-s) and be patient it takes some time to load (not to long of course) .
