De-Fragment - Unmovable files getting scattered all around the drive!

OS: XP Sp1

The problem i am facing nowadays in deframenting, is tht the Unmovable windows files(Green in color) is getting shifted!

I mean theses files are at the start of the "Graph" but when i analyse it gets shifted two the middle of the graph!

Is these sum kind of file corruption?

No errors yet!

NOTE: Already Formatted the HD, same thing happens after two-three re-starts !
Can it be power supply probz?

unmovable files are the ones in use.

but in your case, it is the windows xp's "swap-file" for your virtual memory. its fixed while windows is running so you cant move it. and no, your files are not corrupted.

if you turn off the virtual memory, it(the green block) will disappear, but it will slow you pc down a bit unless you have a lot of RAM.

Set it to NO swapfile, then reboot and defrag, then create a new swapfile with the SAME initial and maximum size. I recommend 3x physical ram but no more than 4095.
