Vista or XP?

I've always firmly thought that XP was a very stable OS. Does anyone think Vista will be better?
Should we upgrade to Vista or not?

Has Microsoft pretty much patched XP?

Possibly. But I'm not in a rush to upgrade since I'm very happy with WinXP.

That's totally up to you. I don't plan to upgrade until Vista proves to be stable...I'll probably wait for the second Service Pack and then see if I really need to upgrade or not.

I think SP-3 is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2007.

You are asking the wrong person - I still use Win2K by choice. It does everything I need and does it very well.

I made my comment based on the fact that Vista is not even on the streets yet. What's your hurry?

It might not be too late to play with Vista RC1 or Vista RC2. Play around a bit and then decide for yourself which is btter.
