windows 2000 help ?.

I have a system with windows 2000 pack 4, but after a raining lightning shutdown. it do not connect to internet, and donot let me to install a another sofware to use my wireless lan connection, it give me error 711 I am not sure if I remember the correct error number but I think that it's correct.

so, widows start ok. but it's working weird.
any idea abaut this issue, thanks in advance for yours answers.

The lightning strike may have zapped some hardware. Are there any flagged devices in device manager? Is everything in there that's supposed to be there?

yes, all hardware look ok. no flagged hardware. when i want to run the internet connection wizard do not work, and when i try to install a software.

Try reinstalling SP4.
